The Public Health Agency of Barcelona (ASPB) has launched a new website that allows you to view data on traffic collisions and injuries in Barcelona. The tool shows the data according to the characteristics of the collisions, the injured people and the mode of transport, and places them on the street map of Barcelona. It also draws groupings according to risk by sections (hot spots). The information is available for several years, both in evolutionary terms and in tables for the various concepts.
The data that can be viewed comes from the information collected from hospital emergency rooms for traffic accidents (DUHAT), from accident reports from the Barcelona Urban Guard and from motor vehicle deaths collected by the Institute of Legal Medicine of Catalonia, and the Mortality Register.
